Job Description: Associate Specialist, Data Analytics

The Associate Specialist, Data Analytics is a key role responsible for managing an enterprise dataset used for regulatory reporting (Resolution Plan). This dataset (called the Service Catalog) will also be used for other transformation initiatives within Enterprise Architecture world through data management, regulatory reporting, process governance, business analysis, and technology enablement activities.

The role partners with stakeholders across Enterprise Architecture, Resolution Planning, Technology, and Business teams to maintain critical business and technology data, drive process improvements, support governance workflows, and deliver reporting and analytics solutions.

The successful candidate will combine strong analytical, technical, and stakeholder management skills to support regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and enterprise governance objectives.

Responsibilities

Service Catalog Operations & Regulatory Support

  • Support the annual and quarterly Service Catalog Mapping and Attestation exercises across Personnel, Systems, Vendors, Real Estate, Intellectual Property, and other critical service components.
  • Perform data collection, validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities across multiple enterprise data sources.
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders to resolve mapping discrepancies, data quality issues, and reporting exceptions.
  • Maintain Service Catalog metadata and ensure alignment with Resolution Planning and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Prepare data extracts, reports, exhibits, and management information supporting Resolution Planning submissions and regulatory inquiries.
  • Support data ingestion activities and maintain integrity of the Service Catalog repository.

Participate in stakeholder outreach, training sessions, office hours, and governance meetings related to Service Catalog processes.

Analytics, Reporting & Automation

  • Leverage Microsoft Access, Excel, VBA, Power Query, SQL, and Power Platform tools to automate manual processes (current state solution – we have plans to modernize this in 2027).
  • Develop Power BI dashboards and reports to provide operational insights and performance metrics.
  • Perform root cause analysis on data issues and recommend process improvements.
  • Support data governance initiatives through monitoring, validation, and reporting activities.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Resolution Office, Data Governance, Technology, HR, Vendor Management, and business teams.
  • Assist in documenting business processes, operating procedures, and governance frameworks.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.

Experience

  • 10+ years of IT experience
