[What the role is]
MAS’ Data Analytics & Engineering Division (DAE) is a specialised team within the Data Technology and Architecture (DTA) Department within the Technology Group (TG) in MAS.DAE’s primary purpose is to partner internal MAS functions to generate business value through the enablement of effective and efficient use of data driven insights for business value creation. This is achieved through effective strategies, strong in-house development capability, standardization of processes, tooling enablement, establishing a product development mindset, promoting knowledge sharing within MAS and complementary external collaborations.
[What you will be working on]
- Explore, utilise, and implement generative AI technologies to solve challenges and deliver business value
- Build web applications powered by machine learning and generative AI models, transitioning from proof-of-concept to production
- Develop and implement machine learning models for classification, regression, clustering, and forecasting using various tools and libraries
- Conduct data analysis using modern tools and techniques to derive insights, trends, and patterns relevant to business problems
- Apply statistical techniques to interpret data distributions and calculate significant measures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies to deliver continuous improvements
- Analyse business requirements, recommend solutions, and contribute to cloud application implementation
[What we are looking for]
- Fresh graduates with relevant degrees in Data Science, Computer Science, or related fields are welcome to apply
- Proficiency in Python programming language
- Experience in machine learning techniques and familiarity with relevant tools and open-source libraries
- Strong statistical analysis skills and ability to interpret complex data sets
- Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and services
- Understanding of Agile frameworks and principles
- Familiarity with business analysis techniques and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and deliver results in a timely manner
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies in the field of data science
You will be working in a fast-paced environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and needs of stakeholders, as well as the agility to respond to changes and developments..
