Sr Data Architect
You will design and maintain enterprise data models that support scalable analytics and reporting across PMI’s global operations. Your focus will be on improving data quality, governance, and consistency while translating business requirements into maintainable logical structures.

IMPACT YOU’LL OWN
• Create reusable data models for enterprise analytics and reporting.
• Improve data quality, consistency, accessibility, and governance.
• Translate business concepts into logical and maintainable data structures.
• Align data definitions, standards, lineage, and transformation rules.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Design and document conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Apply relational and dimensional modeling techniques.
• Partner with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand data needs.
• Document data lineage, business definitions, transformation rules, and mappings.
• Promote modeling standards and reusable design practices.
• Support data governance, metadata management, and data quality initiatives.
SKILLS & CAPABILITIES
• Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Informatics, or a related field.
• At least three years of experience in data modeling, data architecture, data management, or analytics.
• Experience with conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.
• Knowledge of relational and dimensional modeling, normalization, metadata management, and enterprise data architecture.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake.
• Experience with tools such as SqlDBM, Erwin, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner, Enterprise Architect, InfoSphere, ModelSphere, or Toad.
• Experience documenting data lineage, definitions, mappings, and transformation rules.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with global business and technical teams.
• Knowledge of master and reference data, SAP MDG, or Commercial, Consumer, Operations, or Supply Chain is a plus.
