Senior Product Engineer - Data, AI & Analytics
The role focuses on designing and building governed data products and pipelines on a lakehouse architecture, while productionising analytics and AI components with robust testing and CI/CD practices. Collaboration with data owners ensures data quality, lineage, and observability under responsible AI governance.

About the role.
Mission: Build governed data products, pipelines, analytics and AI-enabled components, and take them into production under company data and responsible-AI governance.
Responsibilities
- Design and build data pipelines and data products on a Lakehouse (medallion architecture).
- Productionise analytics and AI components (RAG, agents, model evaluation) and monitor them in production.
- Implement data quality controls, lineage and observability.
- Work with data owners on access, quality remediation and acceptance evidence.
- Contribute engineering options and estimates during solution framing.
Qualifications
Must have
- 6+ years of hands-on data engineering, with solutions running in production.
- Strong Python and SQL, with software-engineering discipline (testing, code review, CI/CD).
- Experience with cloud data platforms.
- Experience putting analytics or ML/AI use cases into production.
- Fluent in English (C1)
Preferred:
- Azure (ADLS Gen2, Key Vault), Databricks and Unity Catalog, dbt, dltHub, Azure AI Foundry / OpenAI, Power BI or Qlik, asset-heavy or industrial domain.
