The context
With our team, you work for a Luxembourg insurer launching a large-scale transformation programme in early 2027. Its Data & AI function is scaling up to give operations, marketing and finance a reliable, shared view of their performance, in an environment governed by Solvency II and IFRS 17 reporting requirements.
Your mission
You turn the insurer's data into decisions that business teams trust and use every day.
Understand the business need
- You work with operations, marketing and finance stakeholders to translate their questions into indicators and reporting requirements.
- You challenge definitions so that one KPI means the same thing across departments.
Model and build
- You design data models on top of the data warehouse and write the queries that feed them.
- You build dashboards that scale, from executive views to operational monitoring.
- You document sources, business rules and lineage so others can build on your work.
Anchor adoption
- You train and support business users as the transformation rolls out.
- You detect data quality issues and bring them to data owners with a remediation proposal.
Your profile
What is essential
- At least 4 years' experience as a Data Analyst or BI consultant.
- Advanced Power BI: data modelling, DAX, report design.
- Strong SQL and a solid grasp of data warehouse concepts (star schemas, facts and dimensions).
- Proven experience working alongside operations, marketing or finance teams.
- A Master's degree in data science, statistics, computer science, economics or finance.
