Job Title: Research ScientistJob Description

As a quantitative research consultant, you will play an integral role in measuring and optimizing workplace dynamics. You will be responsible for both foundational and advanced analysis work. Foundational tasks involve building and maintaining data pipelines, computing weighted estimates, designing samples, and ensuring data quality. Advanced tasks include modeling relationships within the workplace to answer questions about employee sentiment and program effectiveness.

Responsibilities
  • Adapt and develop new research methodologies to discover customer insights.
  • Solve real-world problems by analyzing large datasets, identifying business insights, and designing simulations and experiments.
  • Develop statistical models and collaborate with UX Researchers and Product Managers.
  • Write code using Python, R, SAS, and STATA to analyze data and enhance workplace experiences.
  • Translate business problems into analytical questions and form hypotheses using scientific methods.
  • Retrieve, analyze, and present historical data to support decision-making.
  • Conduct written and verbal presentations to share insights and recommendations.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in Python and research analysis.
  • Technical expertise with over 4 years of quantitative field research experience.
  • Experience in applying scientific principles to business problems.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Experience with both experimental and observational data analysis.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree with 4+ years of quantitative field research experience.
  • Hands-on experience with R, SAS, STATA.
  • Experience with SQL and big data technologies such as AWS Tools.
  • Experience in developing survey questionnaires and causal modeling.
  • Familiarity with human behavior tracking data.
Work Environment

Join a highly skilled and analytical team focused on customer insights. Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week, with no overtime. Collaborate in an environment that values innovation and data-driven decision-making.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
