Lead/Senior Lead Software Engineer - Agentic AI Engineering

We, the IFS Sustainability Application team, are looking for a talented Lead/Senior Lead Software Engineer - Agentic AI Engineering to help shape the next generation of sustainability solutions.

By connecting operational data with sustainability reporting, governance, and decision support, we help organizations accelerate their sustainability journey while turning compliance and reporting requirements.

As a Lead/Senior Lead Software Engineer, you will take end-to-end ownership of product capabilities, from design and development through testing, deployment, and operational reliability. You will work closely with Product Managers, Architects, UX Designers, Domain Experts, and Engineers to deliver scalable, enterprise-grade solutions while leveraging modern engineering practices and intelligent automation to solve real customer problems.

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Go.
• Experience with Kafka / Redpanda.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Experience building and operating microservices-based systems on Kubernetes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in agentic AI development using tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with agentic AI workflows, including orchestrating LLMs and AI agents to deliver enterprise-grade applications.
• Experience with Spec-Driven Development (SDD); exposure to methodologies such as BMAD is considered beneficial.
• Frontend development experience with React would be beneficial.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology along with a minimum of 6 years' experience in a similar role.
• Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills along with an innovative mindset.
