GenAI Specialist/ Team Lead, COO Office, Global Transaction Services

Global Transaction Services (GTS) provides essential banking solutions that facilitate international trade and financial management for businesses. This includes a comprehensive suite of services such as cash management, trade finance, and securities services. GTS helps clients optimize their working capital, manage cross-border payments, mitigate risks, and streamline their financial operations globally, ensuring efficient and secure transactions in an increasingly interconnected world.

This role focusses leveraging AI/ GenAI to drive growth engine, enhance employee experience, and optimize operational efficiency across the functional teams. This approach involves building robust data foundations and fostering the culture of adaptation to the new technology application.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the development and maintenance of the foundational data and knowledge base for GenAI initiatives within GTS

• Coordinate with GTS Product, Sales, Digital team, Governance & Control, Data Management and Technology teams to identify, prioritize, and implement GenAI use cases

• Drive the successful setup and deployment of GenAI solutions focusing on sales leads orientation, risk management and monitoring, and productivity savings

• Define clear metrics and track the outcome of GenAI use cases, including the measured impact on business objectives

• Proactively identify potential roadblocks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure timely and effective project delivery

• Communicate project status, challenges, and successes to stakeholders at all levels

• Contribute to establishing best practices and governance frameworks for GenAI and data management within the organization

Requirements

• University Degree with 8+ years of experience within the banking industry.

• Proven experience in managing data-intensive projects or initiatives related to Machine Learning, AI or GenAI

• Strong understanding of data governance principles and experience in building and managing knowledge bases

• Demonstrated ability to coordinate and lead cross-functional teams. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently while fostering a strong team environment

• Experience in designing and implementing solutions in areas such as sales optimization, risk analytics, or operational efficiency is highly advantageous. Customer-centric and design thinking experience is a plus

• Familiarity with GenAI technologies and their practical applications is a significant plus.
