About this role

Bizbe Inc is an innovative AI-native M&A firm and business brokerage dedicated to small and medium-sized businesses. Our mission is to make small business ownership more accessible because we believe that owning a business is the truest path to building lasting wealth. At Bizbe, we combine cutting-edge AI infrastructure with the traditional, relationship-driven process of brokering deals, enabling business owners to exit on their terms while facilitating the next generation of operators to step into ownership. We are an early-stage, ambitious company focused on creating the platform and services we always wished existed in the industry.

As a Data Scientist at Bizbe Inc, you will be instrumental in leveraging data to drive decision-making and enhance our AI-driven platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze complex datasets, build predictive models, and generate actionable insights that support business growth and client success. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your data science expertise in a fast-paced, innovative environment focused on transforming the business brokerage industry.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to uncover trends and patterns relevant to business brokerage and M&A transactions.

  • Design experiments and A/B tests to evaluate the impact of new features and strategies.
  • Communicate findings and insights effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and AI technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Scientist, preferably in technology-driven or AI-focused companies.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy).
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks and tools (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Familiarity with SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
