Data Architect - Microsoft Fabric
This senior data architect role focuses on designing and implementing Microsoft Fabric-based solutions, bridging business needs with technical data architecture while leading client-facing engagements. About this role
As a Data Solution Architect, you will take a senior architecture role in client solution delivery engagements, with high levels of customer engagement. This includes ongoing analysis of business requirements throughout the lifecycle of the service. You will bring a demonstrated understanding of data architecture, analytics design, and project delivery lifecycles, including experience working in client-facing environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Translating business requirements into technical solutions and producing specifications
- Designing and implementing business intelligence and modern data analytics platforms
- Data architecture design and implementation
- Data modelling
- ETL, data integration, and data migration design and implementation
- Master data management system and process design
- Data quality system and process design
- Working across data science, data visualisation, AI, and machine learning initiatives
- Documenting solutions (e.g. data modelling, configuration, setup), including HLD and LLD
- Working within project management and agile delivery methodologies
- Supporting and coordinating team members on a day-to-day basis
- Overseeing technical delivery of solutions
- Effective stakeholder management and communication
Qualifications
Essential requirements:
- Hands-on experience in data solution architecture, design, and rollout
- Experience with business intelligence tools, data modelling, data staging, and data extraction processes
- Experience working with data warehouse and cloud infrastructure
- Knowledge of multi-dimensional design, including star schemas, facts, and dimensions
- Experience in ETL development techniques
- Experience in data warehouse performance optimisation
- Demonstrated understanding of data management best practices, including data profiling, sourcing, and cleansing routines
Desirable experience:
- Experience across multiple industry sectors
- Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric (Data and Cloud)

Salary Range: €75,000 - €95,000
