Data Analyst
This role demands deep SAS expertise and hands-on database management to validate, analyze, and optimize mortgage servicing data, with a focus on identifying inefficiencies and driving process improvements for portfolio analytics. The ideal candidate will leverage technical skills to bridge gaps between raw data and actionable insights while collaborating closely with management to refine operational workflows.

The position will support Servicing Portfolio Analytics
•This will require a lot of data validation work, comparing files, tracking changes and etc.
•5-7 year experience in SAS – Looking for a candidate very experienced with SAS.
•Candidate should be able to use SAS to query database and import different type of files.
•Must be very detail oriented.
•Must be a fast learner.
•Needs to be able to see the weakness in process and take initiative to propose changes to the management, once current processes are understood.
Qualifications
My notes: must have SAS exp, SAS to create databases, strong SQL, Datawarehousing, knowledge of Sybase or Oracle or UDB databases.
Experience in Data Analytix
Prior mortgage industry exp is helpful.
