JOB PURPOSE
This role exists to turn data into actionable business insights that drive growth, enhance customer engagement, and enable data-driven decision making across Unilever Food Solutions Greece. By transforming complex sales, marketing, and customer data into meaningful analytics, this role supports the business in increasing reach, strengthening customer relationships, and accelerating digital and commercial performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to democratize data, improve visibility of key metrics, and help unlock new opportunities through advanced analytics and reporting. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze sales, marketing, and customer data to generate actionable insights that support business growth and performance.
- Design, develop, and maintain intuitive, visually compelling dashboards and reports using Power BI and other data visualization tools.
- Translate business requirements into meaningful metrics, KPIs, and analytical frameworks that support decision making.
- Collaborate with Customer Development, Marketing, and Business Excellence teams to identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
- Partner with Data Engineers and Data Scientists to harmonize data sources and ensure reliable, accessible reporting solutions.
- Support data democratization initiatives by enabling stakeholders to independently access, explore, and understand business data.
- Utilize data from global data platforms and local sources to provide accurate and timely business intelligence.
- Monitor business performance, identify trends, and communicate insights through effective storytelling and presentations.
- Contribute to the enhancement of customer journeys, digital engagement initiatives, and data-driven commercial strategies.
- Support forecasting, performance measurement, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a corporate environment, including at least 2 years of hands-on experience in Azure Databricks, Power BI, SQL and/or Python.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, data modelling, and data visualization best practices.
- Proven ability to gather business requirements, translate them into analytical solutions, and communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
- Fluent spoken and written Greek and English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with forecasting models and predictive analytics techniques.
- Knowledge of additional programming languages, analytics tools, or advanced data science methodologies.
- Experience working in a commercial, FMCG, sales, marketing, or customer-centric business environment.
