About this role

Lyten is leading an industrial revolution through Lyten 3D Graphene™, a breakthrough supermaterial unlocking a new generation of products — from lithium–sulfur batteries and energy storage systems to concrete admixtures, lightweight composites, and next-generation sensors that are revolutionizing industries. Together, these innovations are making a massive global improvement and driving real-world impact across energy, mobility, construction, and defense.

At Lyten, we believe the most meaningful careers begin with purpose — and with people who want to make a difference. We’re not just developing advanced supermaterials — we’re about to change the world as we know it, reshaping how energy is stored, how products are built, and how progress is made.

We’re entering an exciting growth phase, scaling production across the U.S. and Europe and expanding our team of engineers, scientists, and innovators.

Apply now to join our team and be part of something bigger than yourself — where collaboration, creativity, and purpose come together to build the technologies that will define the next century.

We’re seeking a Data Analyst to join our Battery Energy Storage Analytics team. You’ll analyze telemetry data from battery systems, build ML models to predict degradation and failures, and develop AI-driven optimization strategies for our ESS operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze high-volume battery telemetry streams
  • Build predictive maintenance models using machine learning (regression, classification, time-series forecasting)
  • Develop anomaly detection systems for early failure
  • Create automated dashboards for operational teams and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to translate insight into actionable recommendations
  • Conduct root cause analysis on cell/module performance deviations
  • Document methodologies and maintain reproducible analysis pipelines

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis role, preferably in energy, battery, or IoT domains
  • Python (pandas, PyTorch/TensorFlow), SQL, time-series analysis
  • Proficiency with Tableau, Power BI, or Plotty/Dash
  • Understanding of Li-ion chemistry, battery management systems (BMS), or renewable integration
  • Experience with regression models, neural networks, survival analysis, or reinforcement learning
  • Bachelor’s (minimum) in Data Science, Statistics, Physics, or related field
