What’s the role?

Working within the Children and Young People Directorates as a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will transform complex data into meaningful insights that inform decision-making across Children's Services. Using Power BI, SQL and other analytical tools, you will develop dashboards, automate reporting processes, and support statutory and performance reporting. You will play a key role in helping services understand performance, identify trends and improve outcomes for residents..

What we’re looking for

We are looking for a curious and analytical individual who can turn complex data into meaningful insight and help drive service improvement. You will be confident working with large datasets, creating engaging dashboards and communicating findings to a wide range of audiences. Equally important is your ability to build positive relationships, understand stakeholder needs and deliver practical, data-driven solutions. Above all, you will be passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people through the effective use of data and intelligence.

Location

The job is primarily based in Laurence House, but we operate a hybrid approach where you may be able to work from home, subject to the needs of the business.

Salary

£50,778 - £52,920 per annum (P03)

N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
