About this role

Role purpose

Own or support the business-facing data workstream for ServiceNow GRC/IRM and SPM implementation. The role profiles source data, defines mappings and quality rules, coordinates cleansing decisions, validates transformed and loaded data, and provides auditable reconciliation evidence. Technical extraction, transformation, or loading development is performed only when explicitly assigned.

Key responsibilities

· Inventory source systems, files, owners, entities, fields, reference data, attachments, history, volumes, formats, and known quality issues.

· Profile source data and quantify completeness, validity, consistency, uniqueness, referential integrity, duplication, and timeliness issues.

· Develop and maintain source-to-target mapping specifications, data dictionaries, transformation rules, lookup mappings, defaulting rules, and ownership records.

· Define clear data cleansing, standardization, de-duplication, enrichment, archival, rejection, exception, and remediation rules with business owners.

· Coordinate mapping workshops for policy, authority document, control, risk, audit, finding, BCM, portfolio, demand, project, resource, financial, and related data as applicable.

· Prepare validation queries, sampling approaches, control totals, reconciliation reports, exception logs, and migration sign-off evidence.

· Validate mock loads and migration cycles; document defects and support root-cause analysis, correction, retesting, and readiness decisions.

· Support attachment and historical-data assessment, privacy/security classification, retention requirements, and access constraints.

· Collaborate with ServiceNow consultants, data engineers, integration teams, and business owners while maintaining clear accountability for source correction and target validation.

· Develop the end user training material and conduct end user training sessions before or after going live.

· Provide demonstrations, knowledge transfer, administrator guidance, and functional handover documentation.

· Maintain mapping version control, lineage, decisions, assumptions, risks, and change impacts.

Mandatory experience and knowledge

· At least 5 years of data analysis, data quality, migration, master/reference data, or data-management experience, including at least 2 years supporting ServiceNow implementations.

· Previous ServiceNow data mapping or migration experience in at least one proposal-scope domain: Policy, Compliance, Risk, Audit, BCM, SPM, Demand, Portfolio, Project, or a closely related capability.

· Strong hands-on capability in source-to-target mapping, data profiling, cleansing-rule definition, validation, reconciliation, and exception management.

· Proficiency in SQL and advanced spreadsheet analysis; ability to work with CSV, JSON, APIs, relational data, and large structured extracts.

· Understanding of ServiceNow tables, reference fields, choice/lookup data, import sets, transform concepts, sys_ids, coalesce logic, and data-load dependencies.

· Ability to produce clear mapping specifications, data-quality reports, issue logs, and migration sign-off evidence.

Preferred experience

· Experience with ServiceNow import sets, transform maps, IntegrationHub, or ETL tools, while recognizing that development may sit with a separate technical team.

· Experience with high-volume historical records, attachments, multilingual data, regulatory content, or complex reference-data mappings.

· Knowledge of data governance, metadata, lineage, privacy, retention, and data-quality controls.

· Experience using Power Query, Python, data-quality tools, BI tools, or reconciliation automation.

· Arabic language proficiency (spoken and written) is strongly preferred; professional English is required.

Academic and professional certifications

· Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.

· Required: Recognized data qualification or certification appropriate to the role, such as DAMA CDMP, DCAM, Microsoft data certification, Informatica certification, or equivalent.

· Strongly preferred: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).

· Preferred: ServiceNow implementation certification or training relevant to GRC/IRM, SPM, IntegrationHub, or platform data management.

· Preferred: SQL, data-quality, ETL, BI, or cloud-data certification supported by practical experience.
